We are thrilled to be working in conjunction this year with the Marian House and Catholic Charities of Colorado Springs!  To kick off this partnership, members and their guests were invited to learn firsthand about all the wonderful services these organizations are able to provide to assist the less fortunate in our community.   While at this event, guest were treated to the gorgeous singing voice of Rebecca Tapia while dining on delicacies prepared by Chef Jeff of the Broadmoor, who also volunteers his time and tasty talents at the Marian House Soup Kitchen weekly.

About $6,000 was raised at this event alone, along with approximately $750 in donations of much needed toiletries and everyday items.

On July 21, 2010 the Peak Producers mowed and cleaned the intersection of Nevada and Tejon and the intersection of Lake and Nevada.   

On June 23, 2010 the Peak Producers mowed and cleaned two major Colorado Springs Intersections.    The intersections were Austin Bluffs and Nevada and I-25 and Nevada. With a group of 36 volunteers we mowed down heavy weeds and picked up almost 1000 pounds of trash.  We plan another clean up on July 21, 2010.   We will start at the I-25 Nevada/Tejon intersection and end at the intersection of Nevada and Lake.  We will pick up trash and rubble and use mowers and weed eaters to make the intersections presentable for Colorado Springs residents and visitors.
